SMELLS LIKE SUMMER
To round out any summer ensemble, choosing the perfect fragrance is key! Summer is the perfect time to get playful with your perfumes, and try something new that smells like vacation in a bottle! Today, I want to take a look at some of my favorite scents for summer, and share a few tips for properly storing your fragrances in your closet or vanity so they stay fresh all season long!

Now that you’ve discovered your new favorite summer fragrance, you want to make sure you have the proper place to store them, so they stay fresh for the months ahead! You’ll also want to make sure you have a place to store your beautiful new bottles that will be easily accessible, so you know what you have, and will remember to wear them! Perhaps one of the most sensitive products in your vanity, you want to make sure your fragrances are kept at a cool temperature. This is the best way to avoid oxidation or chemical degradation. In especially humid or hot places, the natural oils and essences in your fragrance can actually break down, which is the last thing you want to happen to your bright new bottle of perfume! In California, I often recommend our clients invest in a cosmetic fridge, to keep not only fragrance but skincare products and more.
If you’re less concerned with the temperature and climate where you live, or you plan to finish off your fragrances in a timely fashion, there are so many great storage ideas to dress up a vanity or a bathroom countertop with a beautiful collection of designer bottles!
