CUSTOM CREATIONS
Customization is a critical part of my job as a closet designer. Each new space I create is personalized to a client’s specific needs and way of living -- from the materials used for the framework down to the knobs on drawers -- meaning I never recreate the same closet twice. From Khloé Kardashian’s custom fitness closet to Brad Goreski’s bespoke dressing room to Olivia Culpo’s one-of-a-kind closet, they’ve each been tailored to their individual tastes and lifestyle.
As someone who truly appreciates the beauty of customization, I’m excited a few of my favorite footwear brands have limited time bespoke offerings available right now. Talk about personalization at your fingertips (err, toes!).
Amanu -- Founded by stylist Anita Patrickson, this minimalist, timeless custom sandal brand offers 10 core silhouettes, 2 leather sole options, and 5 strap materials. Whether you want a pair of snakeskin slides or suede strappy sandals, the possibilities are endless. Talk about designing your dream sandal! While the brand has a boutique in West Hollywood, they currently have a pop-up in Palisades Village until May 12.
Dior -- A newly launched personalization program from the house of Dior, ABCDior, allows clients to customize their Walk’n’Dior sneakers. Outfitted in the classic Dior Oblique canvas print in the brand’s signature burgundy or blue, you can embroider up to three letters of your choice on each shoe, which is then hand-riveted directly onto the shoe. J’adore!
Fendi -- For a limited time, Fendi’s Colibri shoe can be made-to-order! The new#MyFendiColibri program allows you to fulfill your Fendi footwear fantasies by customizing the iconic shoe. Choose from seven front toe options, three ribbon options, and two heel heights in four different finishes. For an extra bespoke touch, add up to three initials on the ribbon to create your own couture Cinderella slipper. The service will be available in LA at the Rodeo Drive boutique May 3 – 6 and online April 15 – May 26.
