ROMANTIC RETREATS

Love doesn’t have a final destination, so take your romance on the road.

Happy Valentine’s Day! In honor of the most romantic day of the year, I'm sharing some of my favorite romantic retreats to sneak away to with that special someone.  So, for those looking to escape to an intimate hideaway with your honey, take note.

Blackberry Farm

No detail is neglected at this luxurious Tennessee haven. The cozy yet elegant accommodations make you feel right at home. The heavenly beds have the most sumptuous linens, ideal for  snuggling up to your significant other. Should you decide to leave your room, there are endless activities, from wellness to adventure, that are perfect for lively lovebirds.

Casa Kimberly

Once the love nest of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor (how cool is that?!), this Puerto Vallarta boutique hotel is surrounded by cobblestone streets, tucked into the hills. The plush beds and romantic touches like clawfoot tubs invite uninterrupted intimacy. Don’t miss the heart-shaped bathtub in the Elizabeth Taylor Suite.

Farmhouse Inn

I love wine country and I love a bed & breakfast (almost as much as I love my guy), so the Farmhouse Inn in Sonoma checks all the boxes for a good getaway. This off-the-beaten-path inn feels quaint, yet five-star all the way. On the agenda: wine taste, eat, relax, repeat.

Four Seasons Ko’Olina

When I need a taste of my native Hawaii, I head here. Ocean breezes, tropical cocktails, an adults-only beach and pool, and private, waterfront massages are a recipe for romance.

Hotel Bel Air

My favorite staycation escape, Hotel Bel Air is luxury at its finest. Stroll through the lush gardens and grounds, or indulge in the unparalleled cuisine from master chef Wolfgang Puck for the full experience.

Korakia Pensione

When I want to get out of Los Angeles for a few days without hopping on a plane, I head to this Palm Springs sanctuary that oozes 'sexy' - from the cozy nooks around the property to the charming rooms, each of which is uniquely designed.  The rooms don’t have televisions so you’ll have to spend some quality time.

Miraval Resort & Spa

When I’m in need of a wellness refuge, I head to Miraval in Tucson. Offering the perfect balance of pampering, fitness and adventure, cupid could argue there’s no better place to bond with your boo.

Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay

If views alone could seduce, this place would do it. Positioned on a cliffside, this irresistible hotel invites suitors to savor the sunset, sip wine, craft s’mores over an open fire on a private terrace, and enjoy a couple’s massage.
