A BEHIND-THE-SCENES LOOK AT AWARD SHOW PREP AND THE VIP TREATMENT
With awards season kicking off tonight, I thought I'd take the opportunity to channel how Hollywood stars are spending their day by visiting some of the best spots around Los Angeles to prep for the big night. Here are the stops I made to get myself red carpet-ready!
NOURISH
I started the day at Moon Juice - a favorite of celebs - to give myself a morning boost. With a fully packed day of preparation ahead, getting my morning recharge is priority number one. Moon Juice on Melrose Place is serving wellness in a bottle, and the Strawberry Good Looks juice is the perfect pick-me-up. It jump starts my day and ensures I'm operating at my best.
SKIN
Joanna Vargas, facialist to the stars, always has me covered with her incredible menu of skincare products and spa treatments. Healthy skin is a huge part of looking your best for that red carpet moment, and Joanna is catering to the likes of Brad Goreski and Julianne Moore, so I know I'm in good hands.
HAIR
Next up, I stop in to see Robert at Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills, where I let him work his magic. He is responsible for making sure there isn't a hair out of place on the heads of some of Hollywood's best. Ellen Degeneres and Lori Loughlin are among the list of celebs who trust Robert with their red carpet looks.
STYLING
To complete my look, I'm hitting Rodeo Drive to show you some of my favorite new pieces, and get a glimpse of the VIP shopping experience (including the rarely seen VIP dressing rooms where stars of the screen are styled).
