CLOSET UPGRADES UNDER $100

I recently had the pleasure of appearing with Nick Cannon on his namesake show, to offer up a few insider designer tips for closet upgrades! If you missed the interview, check out the whole clip here!

PAINTING HARDWARE

Hardware is always an instant upgrade! If you don’t want to invest in all new knobs and handles, painting is an easy way to refresh the finish on your existing closet hardware!

LIGHTING UPGRADES

Every closet needs ample lighting for getting ready, so you can see what you have! I recommending adding functional and decorative lighting in the form of puck lights and battery-operated hanging rods for an instant wow-factor.

SHOE STYLING

Arranging shoes front-to-back on the shelf is a great way to save space and fit more pairs in the closet! Not only is it a functional decision, but gives your shoes a more merchandised, boutique look.

BOOT TREES

Boot trees are a great accessory for maintaining tall boots and keeping them upright when they’re stored away! If you’re looking for an easy DIY solution, cutting a foam pool noodle into appropriate lengths is a great affordable option.

PROPER FOLDING

Keeping things tidy and organized will always make a closet more functional! Consider a folding tool to get a perfect stack of tees every time, like you would see when walking into your favorite store!
