ALL-STAR CLOSETS

In honor of March Madness, and all eyes being on the basketball court, I wanted to take a look into the closets of pro ballers! What style do they lean toward? What do they collect? Here are a few fan favorites, and a look inside their fresh and fabulous closets!

LEBRON JAMES

This Lakers legend recently set his sights on a new Brentwood home, complete with a beautiful walk-in dressing room. We can already imagine his swoon-worthy sneaker collection lining the walls of this well-appointed space. The closet features a mix of materials, incorporating wood, stone, and painted finishes, with lighting throughout and an integrated wall of watch winders!

JRUE HOLIDAY

Jrue Holiday of the Milwaukee Bucks clearly prizes his sneaker collection! His dedicated sneaker closet incorporates colorful in-cabinet lighting, floor-to-ceiling displays, and an array of other sports memorabilia. Here, the shoes are definitely the focal point, and his collection speaks for itself!

DEVIN BOOKER

Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns recently opened his home to Architectural Digest for an exclusive look at his dreamy digs! In the closet, a masculine wood grain is accented with vertical LED lighting, and showcases a sneaker collection any athlete would admire. Above, display cubbies are filled with some of Devin’s personal keepsakes and collectibles!

JOE JOHNSON

We all know athletes love their shoes, but Celtics legend Joe Johnson takes this love to new heights, literally! His dramatic sneaker closet is finished in a glossy black lacquer, with a mirrored ceiling treatment, giving the illusion that the closet extends forever. In the center of the space, a framed jersey and wall-mounted basketball hoop are the clear focal point!

KEVIN LOVE

Turns out, when Kevin Love isn’t on the court with the Cavaliers, he’s a bit of a fashion junkie! His tailored dressing room is inspired by one of his favorite designers, Ralph Lauren, and features all the luxury appointments you could expect from one of his stores. Finished in a rich wood grain with lighting and artwork displayed throughout, the space would no doubt make Ralph proud!
