Living La Dolce Vita in Pretty Prints
The past few weeks my IG feed has been filled with friends and peers living la dolce vita in the Italian Riviera and Amalfi Coast (jealous!), among other exotic locales. As much as I’m beguiled by the breathtaking backdrop, I’m swooning over their bright and bold warm weather looks. I’m especially loving the charming and nostalgic prints, like the Toile de Jouy pattern play à la Reformation and Marianna Senchina, and Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer ‘18 signature Maiolica tile print, which is an homage to Italian tin-glazed pottery dating from the Renaissance. Brilliant blues, sunny yellows and vibrant reds contrasted with crisp white just scream summer on the Mediterranean.
I may not need to add these enchanting ensembles to my wardrobe at the moment, but if I did, I found a few eye-catching options, along with some pretty pieces perfect for bringing these prints into the home.
