As an LA-based designer, LCDQ Legends week is a highlight every year. This year was no exception! The La Cienega Design Quarter was packed with familiar faces and fresh design inspirations, as keynote talks and cocktail receptions took over the showrooms. A major part of Legends week are the designer window displays, and this year I decided to draw from my favorite spaces for a haul of fashion-forward finds!
During a courtyard cocktail reception, guests are treated to a first glimpse of Una Malan's incredible new showroom space. Sculptural forms and sophisticated textures abound!
Una's showroom evokes a timeless elegance with an avant-garde flair, themes inevitably present in high fashion. For me, these pieces reflect and complement her flawless design aesthetic to a T:

The Serena + Lily space makes for a playful presence, starting with the facade! The exterior mural and colorful window collection continues to the interior - a casual, creative space working some upscale West Coast charm.

Harbinger's La Cienega showroom is a paradise of pattern and print. It effortlessly layers fresh and familiar textures with an eclectic furniture collection, with every corner bringing something new to the eye!
Harbinger's space evokes a whimsical, yet warm aesthetic, and doesn't shy away from making a statement. For me, these pieces are similarly balanced in their tastefully playful use of pattern:
The worldly window display at Hollyhock hearkens to another era. It blends old world wares with a well-traveled curation of antique finds. The decadent array of textures and rich color palette are transportive.
In keeping with the glamorous, gilded-era furnishings at Hollyhock, I am drawn to these pieces for their enduring elegance and livable sense of luxury:
The haute, high-contrast display at Arteriors has all of my favorite things! It beautifully incorporates traditional architectural tact with high-gloss glam. The minimal palette is perfection with accents of gold and greenery.
