An entertainment style star gets a true Hollywood dressing room.
As a red carpet regular, mom, and mogul, Giuliana Rancic is one busy woman. So, when LACD was asked to design a custom closet for the Fashion Police entertainer and former E! News host, it meant fusing fashion with function.
A style expert with exquisite taste, Giuliana knew she wanted to showcase her special wardrobe pieces (yes, designer gowns included!) while still having ample storage for more everyday wear. Leaving no detail overlooked, we thoughtfully created a 200-square-foot elevated dressing space that allowed each of Giuliana’s items to have a home of its own.
Serving as the closet’s center piece, an island with a chic white Carrara marble top and oil rubbed bronze hardware lends itself to folding tops, laying out jewelry before a night out or accessorizing with decor like flowers and photos.
In order to preserve Giuliana's pieces that don’t always get the spotlight, we lined the closet with plenty of custom storage, including adjustable cubbies, glass dividers, and L-shaped shelves and drawers.
A closet for an A-list fashionista wouldn’t be complete without some unique features. In this case, that meant building a pull-out, dual-sided scarf rack and pearl suede drawer inserts to protect smaller accessories like jewelry, belts and sunglasses. We also equipped handbags with purse pillows to keep them from losing their shape.
Lastly, a timeless Circa Lighting chandelier was installed to add a touch of subtle glamour to the space, while double windowpane doors provide natural light and open to a lush outdoor landscape.
